He qualified in 1999 after completing a home studies course run in conjunction with Scholl and the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists

He also spent 6 years as a professional footballer with Sheffield Wednesday from 1984 to 1990 before an injury caused his early retirement.

Natalia Gregory

29 year old Natalia qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner recently after completing a home studies course run by the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.

After leaving school she started work at New Look in Doncaster and stayed there for 6 and a half years until leaving to start work as a Foot Health Practitioner alongside Tony, following the successful completion of her studies.

She is currently on maternity leave having given birth to her 1st child Alexander.

“Whats the difference between a Chiropodist and a Foot Health Practitioner?”

Although technically the two roles are identical, there are some slight differences to be aware of:

Both Tony & Natalia completed the same home studies course run by the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. Tony completed his in 1999 and was allowed to call himself a Chiropodist. In 2003 The Health Professions Council was set up (HPC, now called the HCPC) and they made a decision that to call yourself a Chiropodist you had to complete a 3 year degree course at University.

It is not only the field of Chiropody that this has happened in, several other medical professions have had to come into line. The only major difference in day to day terms is that only Tony is allowed to issue a receipt to claim money back from any insurance you may have but Natalia isn’t yet allowed. So if you require a receipt please mention this when you initially contact us.
